Find new customers proactively
Since the conception of this newsletter we have been dedicated to bringing you content that is useful and that empowers a new generation of entrepreneurs to provide actual value while building great businesses.
No small boy stuff here.
We’ve been looking for ways to put tools in your hands to be successful entrepreneurs for a few months now.
Often when creators get some sort of audience they put together a course or ebook that their audience can buy, but we’ve never really seen the value in that. For our views on courses and why they are stupid check out this recent post:
Save your money, figure it out yourself.
A few weeks ago I wrote a post about using a drone to shoot awesome real estate footage. I guess it was a pretty compelling argument, because I went and bought a drone for myself. It’s been a really fun toy and has allowed me to shoot some really cool photos and videos.
Instead of launching digital products that are so subjective, we decided to build a product that had the following criteria:
Clear value(not guru or idea based)
Affordable(under $20)
Not a scam
We’ve had some ideas kicking around for a while, and finally we are proud to announce the launch of Recently Sold!
For months now we’ve been creating content on how to start and run a business. There have been ideas thrown out that can be started with almost now money:
It would be our biggest dream if any one of you read a post and started a business using our content as inspiration!
The problem many new business owners have is the business is all set up, they are ready to fulfill orders, but they don’t have any customers.
If you know you know. ☝️
Today let’s explore a new avenue of customer acquisition.
We’ve mentioned briefly in a few articles the idea of marketing your services specifically to brand new homeowners. You’ve seen it a million times. A new family moves into a house that has been around for 50 years and what do they do?
They immediately paint the garage door to a different color. Or they cut down a tree in the front yard. Inside they are doing everything they can to paint, redecorate, remodel, and change things. Why does everyone do this?
They want to make this old house their own. Plain and simple.
If you know this is happening in every single recently purchased home in The United States, then how can you capitalize on this?
This newsletter is all about seeing normal things and finding opportunities.
The service is up to you. We’ve discussed tons of ideas you can start, and YOU are the only one who knows your local culture and is looking around for opportunities everyday.
What we can do is help you to find these recently sold homes.
And that’s why we are so excited to launch Recently Sold!
All you have to do is go to recentlysold.co and give us the zip codes of your service area. We’ll monitor all of the real estate transactions on MLS sites like Zillow, Realtor, and Redfin so that we can notify you when a new house has been sold in your service area.
It’s that simple. We want to help you build a successful business and provide real value to you.
Instead of sitting around waiting for the phone to ring, get out and pound the pavement. Find potential customers and talk to them. Make genuine connections and put yourself out there.

Landscaping year round with business stacking
It’s pretty daunting to start a full on landscaping business. To buy a truck, trailer, mower, and edger could easily cost you $15,000+ just to get started. What if I could you there was a much less risky, simpler way to get started by using business stacking? For a refresher on business stacking, see yesterday’s post.
